Toddler Tray

Most people use this tray for a printer. Our printer won't fit there, so Jackson has decided it's there for him to stand on. Not sure how I feel about it.
But it's so dang cute.

Beautiful Job Boys

We got TP'ed by a couple of young men in the ward. I knew it was only a matter of time, since Markham is in Young Mens. It's sort of an occupational hazard.

Didn't they do an awesome job? You know what the best part is? We totally caught them!!  It was midnight, so they probably would have gotten away with it, except my brother and his wife pulled into our driveway and saw them run behind the side of the house. They were trapped, with fences all the way around and weren't able to get away in time. It was SO GREAT! I'm sure they weren't expecting us to have guests arrive that late.
So for the next 20 minutes Markham and the boys unraveled and cleaned up their masterpiece.

Even Roxy was impressed with their work. I am sooo glad I didn't wake up to a soggy mess in the morning, since it rained all night. Thanks Dylan and Ashley! Your timing was perfect!

oH SUmMeR!

Summer fun is in full swing on our block. Kaity plays the day away with her cute little friends in the pool, in the sprinklers, on the swing set and on the tramp. It's so nice to have such awesome neighbors. Right now they are pretending they are pioneers, washing their hair in the pool. Bath time will be much needed tonight. They have not a care in the world. I am jealous. Why did we want to grow up so fast? Watching them play in the sun makes me think there is nothing better than being a kid. Jackson would be out there too but he's enjoying a peaceful slumber. Wouldn't that be nice?

These are the pictures I will stare at during the dead of winter.  Why can't summer last longer? I would support a half year of fall and a half year of summer. We can skip spring and winter.

July 4th Fun

We were in Idaho for the 4th weekend. It was a full house with everyone there plus cousin Jamison. We had a lot of fun playing on the river and playing "Killer Bunnies," a game Jamison brought.
The brothers
 My favorite little man
My favorite little girl

 It's always fun with cousins!
Kaity loved riding with Markham, although she didn't like to go fast. She preferred to idle.
Jackson hated it, and cried through his ride, which lasted a nanosecond.
 Not happy
He preferred to sip his juice by the house
Fireworks were fun. The kiddos loved the sparklers.
Markham and Dylan loved the sparklers too, as they pretended to cast spells on each other
 It was entertaining.
I  sure love those dorks
Hope you had a fun 4th too!
