Easter

We had an awesome Easter Weekend. Saturday was lazy and perfect. The kids played outside with Markham. I spent some time catching up on a few things in the house. We had barbecued hamburgers for dinner and colored eggs in our PJ's. 

Sunday morning the kiddos found eggs scattered all around the house. We went to church and were almost on time!! The girls wore their matching Easter dresses and Jackson wore his new purple shirt (his favorite color) I tried really hard to remind the kiddos why we celebrate Easter. Kaity understands and I think Jackson does most of the time. 

We came home and Markham prepared apple crisp in the dutch oven and then we headed across the street for a yummy Easter feast with our dear friends, the Larsen's  It was a perfect day. 

Competition Season is Here Again...

My little Kaity Pie loves to dance. She also loves to perform, which is why we have signed up to sacrifice several precious Saturdays at her competitions. She is such an awesome dancer and we love to see her in action.

 
 
 

The girls she dances with are so cute and have great moms, which is so nice. I am guessing we will be spending a ton of time together through years of dance. I think we are in for the long haul. But it is fun.

Down Time

While Kaity is at school, we just hang. Jackson plays with his guys or his dinosaurs and Addie eats and sleeps. I try and get laundry done intermittently and sometimes I am successful. Sometimes I am not. Somehow we have clean clothes to wear.

Ward Easter Egg Hunt

Oh what would the Ward Easter Egg Hunt be without freezing temps. As usual Markham tells us it isn't that bad so we just wore jackets...WE ALL FROZE. In his California mind,  sunny =  warm! But in Utah things are a bit deceiving from the window. It was in the 30's. Brrrrrrr.  Thankfully I had little Addie bundled like crazy in the car seat/stroller. I wanted to jump in there with her!

We had fun though and hurried home for giant mugs of hot chocolate. Emma, Matt and Kendra came for the weekend. I did not get a picture of them. What was I doing?

They came to celebrate Markham's birthday with us. We went to The Pie and ate way too much. We played games and had fun. Thanks for coming and playing guys!
