Halloween Fun

I just love Halloween. The dressing up, the decorations, the trick-or-treating, all of it. Kaity didn't have preschool or dance class so we decided to go to Logan and play with cousins.

We went to Lee's Marketplace first. They had stuff for little trick-or-treaters all over the store. It was super cute. They even had a mini spook alley in the backroom.  Me and the kiddos braved it together.
Kaity painted a pumpkin at Aunt Lindsey's house.
After lunch we headed to the Wittier Center for their Halloween Carnival.

We drove back home, had dinner with friends and took the kiddos trick-or-treating.. All of us all decked out, of course. Our neighborhood is so fabulous. It was a spook alley in itself! A lot of festive people go all out. It makes it fun.
This is the wig I bought for Kaity. She would only wear it long enough for me to snap this picture.
Markham was so hot this year!!

5- The Year of Hello Kitty

Kaitlyn is 5 years old! I can't even believe it. This year she was way into Hello Kitty. You can find just about anything with Hello Kitty on it. She got a Hello Kitty bike, razor scooter, pj's, socks and purse. (Thanks for all the gifts everyone!)

Here is the cake I spent a couple of hours on. It was gone in 10 minutes.
We had a family party at Fats Cats in Ogden. Kaitlyn and Jackson love to bowl and eat pizza so that is what we did. I think everyone had fun. Thanks for making the trip guys!! Kaitlyn was so happy to have everyone there.
All decked out!

First Field Trip

Kaitlyn's preschool took a field trip to Black Island Farms last week. The kiddos had a lot of fun. They were so excited to take a hay ride to a pumpkin patch and pick out their very own pumpkins.
The animals were fun to watch.
Jackson made a new friend.
He walked up to this little goat and said, "I'm Jackson." He then proceeded to feed him straw off the ground. It was pretty fun to watch.

I Found My Camera!

So I was in the pilot digging through the center console looking for my gps when voila! I found my camera!  Here are some random pics of what we have been up to--

We went to the circus with some friends
The girls were astonished by the tight rope. Watching them was almost as much fun as watching the performers...almost. Those tight-ropers were pretty amazing.

Whenever we go to J & J Nursery I promise the kiddos we will visit the "fishies" if they are good while I agonize over what to plant. We were just there a few weeks ago picking out some shrubs.
They were good
 What cuties
when we left, Jackson yelled out, "Bye bye fishies"

My parents came for a visit, the kiddos had fun with Papa
Someday I will have a phone, camera and gps all in one! Wouldn't a smart phone be wonderful! My dang plan isn't due for an upgrade for another 6 months, grrrrrrrr.

Craft Mania!

This month I have been crafting like crazy! My sister-in-law, Emma and I worked on this cute "Witch" while we listened to conference. It was so fun! I think it will be a new tradition.
My mom, sisters and I made these cute things a couple of weekends ago

 "Tom" the turkey
We also went to a Super Saturday and worked on temples together. Isn't it a beauty!
I have had a lot of fun!!
