Cute things I don't want to forget...

I realize you always think the things your own children do are so adorable, and usually only you. I am having one of those moments and I know that no one else really cares (except maybe grandparents) but I have to document.

Kaitlyn's new thing as of late is to do "magic tricks" For example today she announced, "Mom I'm going to disappear this grape! Please close your eyes!"

I heard her pop the grape in her mouth, then  "munch, munch, munch."  She said "Don't open your eyes Mom!" intermingled with more munching. Silence, followed by "Ok Mom, you can open your eyes now!!"

Jackson was having a hard time sleeping and was waking up every few hours. After several failed attempts to soothe him back to sleep, I asked him what was wrong. He said, "Momma, my ear hurts real bad." In that cute 2 year old slur. It totally broke my heart. I took him to the kitchen and gave him some Motrin and a drink of water. I told him I would take him to the Dr. in the morning. He said, "Dr sleeping."

Markham had the stomach flu and was in bed. I told the kiddos to leave Dad alone because he was sick and needed to sleep. Jackson said "Daddy throw-up" He went to the kitchen and came back with a bowl. "Here Daddy."

First Snow

We got the first snow of the season last night. When Kaitlyn let the dog out this morning to do her business, she yelled,  "MOM, you GOTTA see THIS!" She was pretty excited. The next sentence out of her mouth was, "Daddy, can we build a snowman?"
 Playing hard...
I love fall leaves....wish they could stay longer
Snowball fight with the neighbor boys
Apparently the sun was in their eyes so this squinty pic was the best of the bunch
Jackson didn't mind getting wet. He was a frozen little popsicle when he came in.
One happy little girl
The swing was as exciting as a brand new toy with snow underneath it!
The kiddos came in, sipped hot chocolate and watched a movie together all cuddled up with their pillows and blankets. Isn't being a kid great?!
