Kaitlyn's 19th Birthday

Kaity was able to come home to celebrate her birthday!!
We were so excited to have her.
We also made it to the football game to see her pacesetter besties.
Cheesecake Factory!
Together again!
She had her besties over to paint pumpkins, a fun tradition.
I think Addie's was my favorite
Happy Birthday Kaitlyn!
I know this freshman year at school is really stretching you and it is hard and you are homesick and lonely at times. I am so proud of you. I know you are powering through. I know these experiences will help build you and help you to know that you can do difficult things. You are learning to believe and trust in yourself. That is so valuable. You are stronger than you know my love. You can do this. I am a phone call away and you are in my heart always. I love you. xoxox Mom

All about Jackson

This was fun.
Maybe it's because he's the middle child.
Maybe it's because he's the only boy.
Maybe it's because he doesn't love me taking pictures.
I don't know but I don't have as many pictures of Jackson so I was all about this.
We took him out to get a new fit for homecoming.
No matter how old he gets, he still has his signature looks that crack me up.
He sure looked sharp!
I had fun taking a bunch of shots of him before he left. It's different with boys. I knew I wasn't going to be taking a million pictures of him and his friends in front of somewhere dripping with aesthetic. This was going to have to suffice. He humored me with his silly self and I loved it.
Thanks Jackson. You looked great that night! I love you. xoxox Mom

Soaking up those last pool days

It's definitely weird without Kaitlyn around. We miss her. Addie looks like her from the back especially in the pool with her hair pulled up in a messy bun. It was freaking me out all day. We have always been a party of 5. Adjusting to her not being around is tough.
Addie and Jackson are good friends and I really love that they have each other.
Siblings are the best.

A Team!

This girl made the A team! So excited for her!
It is such a blast to watch her play!
Keep up the hard work Addie!

SRD

Here we go!
Waterproof mascara is on, plenty of Kleenex and we're smiling.
It's fine.
Everything is fine.
The cafeteria is delicious!
How cute is she next to her personalized door sign?
Her walls look so bare, we are planing on getting some more things.
The last supper at Kerbey Lane! So yummy!
Love you KP! We are so proud of you!!

Back to school and all the things

Oh my goodness this was such a busy time in all the ways.

My heart was stretching and preparing to let this one live in Austin for her first semester as a freshman. Senior year is such an emotional beating. It really is. As soon as junior year is over.
It begins.
The count down is on.
We had a lot of fun shopping for her dorm room!
Meanwhile it was back to school for Jackson and Addie as well. They were getting their Chromebooks and schedules and haircuts, etc.
It was back to school for me too!
I had professional development 2 weeks before school started to get ready for the student to come back!
So much to do! This was a fun group though!
A fun group of friends came and "kidnapped" Addie for a fun night before school started.
In n Out is always a good idea
Schedule time
All the pressure is off this big dog since he is sophomore the year.
Addie's first year of Junior High!
So excited about volleyball tryouts!!
Addie and Markham's last game with Set Sisters. It has been such a fun road. He has really enjoyed these years coaching her. Tough to see it come to an end.
