Sweetest kiddos ever ♥

I keep this blog going for my kiddos. I hope they will enjoy looking back on the fun things that we did and remember how much I love them. But I also do it for myself. I realize this time with them is fleeting and I want to be able to cherish these moments forever.

I wanted to remember this sweet thing they did for me today. ♥
 They brought me breakfast in bed.
Peanut butter toast. My favorite.

Thanks my loves. It made my day.

Our Day at the Lake

My cute girlfriends and I loaded up our kids and stuff and headed to Pineview Reservoir for a fun day on the beach! It was so so much FUN!! The kids and I can't wait to get back and try out our new paddleboard.
 The kiddos wore their life jackets and floated in tubes.
The water felt so good. It was the perfect day. Very hot!

 We also spent some time building a pretty legit sand castle village.
 Kaitlyn loved trying out the kayak the Weber's brought. She cruised around like a pro.

Thanks ladies for the fun day!!  I love ya ♥

The day we got our ears pierced

Addie asked me if she could wear a set of my earrings. I said she couldn't because her ears weren't pierced. She was very disappointed and then she said, "Can I get my ears plugged?"

That made me giggle. "Are you sure? It will hurt a little." I told her.
 I pinched her ear to try to give her an idea of how it might feel.

She was undaunted. What a tough cookie.

I called Markham and he met us at Claire's @ Station Park. Not far from his office.
 It was a sweet moment. She wanted to sit on Daddy's lap.

 After watching Addie, Kaitlyn decided she wanted her ears pierced too. She had been too nervous and scared beforehand.
 It was done in a snap and no big deal!
 Cuties for sure!

Logan Reminiscing...

Oh Logan love. What a wonderful few years it was. Living with my sister..., and my brother for a time, meeting friends I knew I would love forever, and of course, meeting Markham ♥

It was just the best of times. I wish I had more pictures of those carefree and silly days. Maybe the lack of makes it that much more magical. Moments that are locked away in memory only.

We had a reunion at Merlin Olsen Park with the friends we met back in those days. Since Lindsey had the same name as my lil' sis Lindsey we decided to call her Pony. Not sure how we picked it but it stuck. Soon after we were all assigned an animal name. Probably one of those super late nights that we thought ourselves hilarious.

Lindsey= Pony
Shad=Chimp
My sis Lindsey= Duck
Jake=Panther
Annie=Fish, pronounced "Feesh"
Me=Bunny
Markham=Rabbit

Funny sidebar. Kaitlyn really thought Lindsey's name was "Pony" until she was like 6. lol

Since those days, Duck married Panther and I married Rabbit. Pony married Brian. Feesh was married and had Millie and Chimp is still looking for his wife.
We laughed and caught up. It was a perfect day.
 The kiddos played with cousins and friends and had a blast too.
 Pony and Brian and their sweet little Jace.
 Aunt Lindsey is the BEST AUNT EVER and pushed and played with these cuties for a long time.
 Addie and Oakley never too far away from each other

 Annie's daughter, Amelia, or Millie for short is a cutie for sure.

 Playing in the water
My 2 favorite Lindseys ♥

. I love this girl ♥
Our parents were a big part of our lives back then too. Their presence was requested by the group.

The guys had a great time playing Bocce ball

The last time we were all together, Lindsey and Brian's wedding.... 7 years ago.
It's been an awesome 7 years ♥
