REVEL Dance Competition in Fort Worth

 cute team! 💗💗💗
team huddle
Love you Kaitlyn! Had so much fun with you!

The last few weeks...

This was us at the Winter Classic game in Dallas. I love Markham's face. ♥!! This was a dream come true for him. I was so happy we were all able to go. We had a ton of fun.

We discovered Addie loves Hockey too! She was so into it!
Markham's parents came to town for a New Year visit and Grandpa joined us at the game.
 Addie and her Daddy ♥
It was cold though! DANG!
Glad I forced the kids to wear coats because they didn't think they would need them. They for sure needed them.
I love you babe!
One of our first dates was to a Grizzlies game in SLC. Good times.

I took Addie with me to run a few errands. We made a stop at an adorable bakery in old town Wylie.
She picked a couple of red velvet macarons. She wasn't sure if she liked them. lol. Kinda a weird texture.
We love you Grandma and Grandpa!
Addie got a bunch of canvases and an easel from my parents for Christmas and she is loving them!
Tiff's treats after Jackson's soccer game.
We've had a lot of fun! Can't believe its 2020! Cheers to another great year!

School Awards

I was so proud of the kiddos. Jackson got A Honor Roll. He's such a smartie. School is easy for him. He's great at math and loves reading. He loves Harry Potter and just started reading the Percy Jackson series. He also loves to read Diary of a Wimpy kid books and comics.

He has great friends who want to play everyday after school.  Look how cute these boys are!
Addie got "Shining the Way" award. A special award given to one child per class who stands out for showing "The Wyllie Way" of caring and giving. 💓💓💓So proud of her.
She loves Mrs. Aldrich so much. She is such a fabulous teacher who really encourages her students to love and support each other. I'm a big fan too.

Ranger's first month at home

Christmas pup.
Addie is in heaven with Ranger. She loves him so much even though he is kinda crazy at times and gets all worked up. She has a few holes in her clothes from his razor sharp teeth. She takes it all in stride. She's a good momma.
He was this little for like 5 minutes. I tried to take a lot of pictures because I knew he would grow fast but wow. It is CRAZY!
Potty training was a struggle in the beginning even when we tried to keep eyes on him the entire time. It seems like he would always sneak away and pee on the floor, We started tying him up while we had meals, etc. He didn't love it but he found ways to entertain himself.
Time for a walk/run to get all that energy out!
Addie loves to pick him and cuddle him. He's so good about it.
Best friends
Practicing "sit" in the backyard. He's actually really good at this one. He loves getting treats.
He passes out hard after walks.
Jackson is excited too. He has always wanted a boy dog because he feels outnumbered with 2 sisters. We named him Ranger because he read a book about a golden retriever called "Ranger in Time." He told me if we ever got a dog he would want to name him Ranger.
#wishgranted
Ranger is a good snuggle buddy when he is tired.
movie night
Markham is pretty happy too. What a tender moment. Remember when Ranger was this small? If you blinked you probably missed it.
I walked Ranger to school to pick up the kids. It was a little overwhelming. Haha. Between Ranger not really getting "how to be walked" and all the attention he got from everyone I was exhausted when we got home. Probably won't be doing that again for while. lol
The kids loved it though 💗
Making dreams come true over here!
I just hope I can survive it. Ha!

A visit from Mariann

Mariann has been my friend since Kaitlyn was in diapers. She knocked on my door 11 years ago introduced herself as my neighbor 3 doors down and handed me a plate of cookies. Text book friendly and welcoming neighbor. I appreciated that so much and we hit it off right away. We took walks on the trail behind our homes, went to the park, swapped date nights, met for lunch at McDonald's, etc. We've stayed close through 3 more children for her and 2 more for me. She has had a few heartbreaks through the years but she is strong and is pulling through it all beautifully. It was fun to see her. We went out to lunch, had pedicures, went to Little Women at the AMC and caught up.  Love you Mariann. Thanks!
