MeRRy CHRISTMAS love the Carrolls!

Merry Christmas!! I regret to say that I didn't send out Christmas cards this year. The time just got away from me. We still love you! This time of year is so special. We are so grateful for our Savior. Through Him, we can all have true happiness, and that is the best gift of Christmas! Have a safe and merry time and we wish you the best for a fantastic new year!!

What's been happening with us...

It has been a crazy month. We have been on the road for most of it. Traveling all over Utah and Idaho visiting family... and we are off to California in the morning!! Kaitlyn has been spending a lot of time in her car seat. Here she is enjoying a doughnut for breakfast on the road, yum!!
Here are some snow pics. I took these about a week ago. We have a TON more snow now.

You may notice Kaity is not wearing gloves. Prompty after the photo shoot, I took care of that, don't worry Grandma!

Thanksgiving Thankfulness

We had a great Thanksgiving week. We were able to spend time with both families this year. We spent 3 days in Park City with Markham's family and 3 days in Idaho with mine. It was really great to see everyone. We played a lot of games and A LOT of WII!!! Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures. Watching people do the hula hoop was absolutely HILARIOUS, especially Dylan ;) He looks so ridulous doing it, but currently holds the record. Thanks to the Carrolls and the Watsons for making it so delicious and fun. We are so thankful for family and all the fun we have together. And THANK YOU to my dear husband for battling the Black Friday crowds with me yet again this year, starting at 3:30AM. Love you!

Picture Tag

My sweet cousin "picture tagged" me awhile ago, but I have been out of town so much I haven't had a chance to find the 4th picture in my 4th file. I thought it looked fun. So here it is. My totally cool brother Dylan, being the stud he is, at the top of a hill in Sun Valley that he and Markham hiked a few years ago. Ha Ha Ha. Sorry little brother, love you.

Hey...Lindsey, Ashley and Kelli - she tagged you guys too!

Workin' on our Fitness!

How do you go skiing Sunday night at 10:45pm?? Ask Markham, he seems to be having a fantastic time on the Wii fit ;D He just beat my high score, not cool. Don't worry, I'll catch him.
I was more than a little skeptical about the workout worthliness of Wii Fit, but to my pleasant surprise, I broke a sweat! I did a little hula hoop, went for a run, skied, and did some aerobics. Way fun!! The Carrolls give it a big thumbs up!

tHe cARRoLL sPooKtAcuLaR!!

The "First Annual Carroll Spooktacular" was a hit! Some very big names showed up!! The first to be introduced -the fairytale princess bride and her prince charming groom. Kaitlyn had a real problem with Halloween this year. She DID not like her costume or anyone else's for that matter. She wore the veil for about 2 seconds, but worse than that, her aunt Ashley made her a very cute bride's bouquet, for which she had absolutely nothing to do with...bummer. Thanks anyway Ashley!!

A scurvy pirate couple showed up in all of their garb. Very, Very funny.

A very fit and fierce boxer made an appearance. He had just come from a match. He was pretty black and blue, but you should see the other guy!

Little Red Riding Hood showed up with Anchorman, Ron Burgundy. Huge shocker. He got the exclusive interview with her about the Big Bad Wolf. Everyone was talking about it. Maybe you have heard of him, he's kind of a big deal.
A sweet little doll came and was "sweet" on the Boxer. He couldn't even keep his gloves on. It didn't look like she minded all that much, she was turned on by his ripped abs.

Snow White and the Burger King came together. Huge scandal. Everyone was asking about the seven dwarfs, it was a little awkward. More weird than that though, he kept trying to stuff money in other attendees pockets. Arriving fashionably late, was the ferocious tigress. Her true colors were really showing last night. It was frightening. We had her licking out of our hands by the end of the night.
Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White, the Doll, and the Pirate BrideThe Pirate, Ron Burgundy, and the Boxer It is a fair guess to say the adults had way more fun than the kids this year!! It was so fun. I love Halloween. We played games, took the kids trick-or-treating and ate yummy food. Thanks everyone for making it epic!!

And the Award Goes to......
The Burger King for the Scariest (creepiest) Costume
The Boxer for the Most Fitting Costume
Little Red Riding Hood as the Cutest Costume
The Doll for the Most Original Costume
Snow White for the Most Elaborate Costume
The Tigress for the Most Surprising Costume
Ron Burgundy for the Funniest Costume
And last but certainly not least
The Pirates for the Best Couple Costumes!!!

Trip to St. George

We spent a long weekend in St. George with my parents and Lindsey & Jake. It was so nice to get away. Unfortunately Markham couldn't come, thanks tax season. I just had to break out of the house for a few days. I fear I am getting dangerously close to completely losing my mind. Things should be so much better after October 15th. Then we will be gearing up for the first annual "Carroll Spook-tacular" I am planning an epic Halloween bash for the family, costumes required! I am looking forward to it!
Kaitlyn's favorite pastime as of late: wearing everyone else's shoes

Aunt Lindsey and Kaitlyn sharing a story

Just relaxing with Grandpa

Our cute cousins came up from Vegas for the afternoon. It was so good to see them. A special thanks goes out to Taylor for entertaining the little tykes so well. He was so good at it! I told him Markham and I would have to come to Vegas for a little couple get away and leave Kaitlyn with him because he just enjoyed himself so much ;)
Kaitlyn and Carson having a fantastic time together. It is a crime to keep them so far away from each other!

It was so fun to see you guys!!! We love you and look forward to December!!
