Easter Reprieve

Easter weekend was a nice break. We colored eggs, one of my favorite childhood traditions. We took Kaitlyn to the park, it was beautiful!!! It was so so nice to be outside. On Sunday, Kaitlyn went to the Nursery.....and had a great time!!! I was actually able to listen to the lesson!!! WOW. We had roast, potatoes, carrots, rolls and salad for dinner. Amazing I know!
Kaitlyn all ready to go to church. Look at all those fabulous natural curls!!! People ask if I curl her hair! Are you kidding?!

Spring at the Park

We took Kaitlyn to the Park to play after a long cold winter. It was pretty chilly still, but she didn't mind. She was chasing the ducks and having a great time.

Hooray!!

All Work and No Play.....

What dedication!! What devotion!! What discipline!! The madness continues. Work all day and most of the night and then spend whatever time is left over studying. What a party!! Look at those dark circles!

I wonder if he remembers I am his wife. He looks a little uncertain.
All work and no play makes April a dull girl. I am afraid I have gone a little nuts. The other day I decided the shower just wasn't white enough. So I decided to make a paste out of comet and water and apply it to the grout with a scrubber --painstaking. I used nearly the entire can of comet, bleached out my shirt, and sustained brain damage in the process.....but it is white!Honestly, there has got to be a better way!!! If you know of one please share.

Lunch with Kate

Today's Menu:
Tortellini with Marinara Sauce
Applesauce
Juice

I hope you are impressed. Lunches are pb&j or melted cheese more often than not. However today we had tortellini....yum. But don't be fooled. I didn't "make" them. I bought them frozen. Don't judge me! I never claimed to be a great chef or anything. Kaitlyn has been practicing a new skill set- using utensils. Her aim is a little off as you may notice. She has a lot of fun trying and I have a lot of fun watching. It is disconcerting however that the maid has not come and cleaned everything up yet.
Yes, those are her pajamas and yes, she is having lunch. Let's be honest, I was probably still in mine too. What do you want from me?! I don't claim to be the Mother of the Year or anything.
