Day Hike!!

We went on a 3 mile hike through Mormon flats with our ward last Saturday. It is a section of the original trail the pioneers took. It was so great. We got to know a few couples really well. It was pretty hot, but we had plenty of gatorade and water. When we got to the top we had lunch with everyone and I got to chat with a bunch of new moms like me!!

Isn't it beautiful?! We are glad we did it. Kaitlyn really liked the hike too. She had her head poking out the side almost the entire time so she could see all the nature!

This is near the end. We were all pretty exhausted. We went home and took a nap!

Helping Mommy with the Grocery List

Being a stay-at-home Mommy is fantastic! I do have some new responsibilities however, one being planning AND cooking meals!! Oh my goodness! Those who know me realize this is quite an undertaking and I need all the help I can get.

Do you think we can get some more of those yummy crackers?

Since Markham joined the ranks of 40-50 hour work weeks, Kaitlyn cherishes the time she can spend with him, as do I.

Eating out...always fun for everyone!

Kaitlyn has really been enjoying crackers. She likes to wash it down with a little water too!

Zions Park

We were in St. George with my parents for Father's Day weekend. It was a lot of fun. We decided to go to Zions for a little hike. I gave Kaitlyn a sunscreen bath and we were off. It was an easy hike so Kaity was able to sit in her stroller the entire time...what a life! It was fantastically beautiful. It marked the first of many Carroll excursions into the great outdoors....as long as there are no bears.
