We Love the Treehouse!

Ashley and I took the kids to the Treehouse Museum today. It was so so fun. They ran around and kept super busy. Poor Parker could barely keep up with Kaity. While he was content to do one thing at a time, Kaity was running around trying to do it all at once! There were so MANY things for them to do! We spent 2 hours there, and they didn't want to leave!

Surf's Up!

We spent last Saturday celebrating Markham's birthday at The Junction. It is a WAY fun place in Ogden where you can go surfing and skydiving (simulated)! There are restaurants, movie theaters, arcades, etc. Way fun place. We highly recommend it!!

28 Days

Tax Season is in full swing, the countdown is on. Markham has been working a ton of hours ofcourse. This is what you expect to do when you're a CPA. The 65+ hr work weeks were no secret when he signed on. I thought graduate school and 3 jobs was tough, that was just a warm up for the schedule he keeps now. Although it gets lonely and everything, I am super grateful he has a job, and one he enjoys, especially now. Deloitte has been good to us and he really likes the peeps he works with, which is huge. So Kaity and I are hanging in. She always asks, "Where is Daddy at?" or "see Daddy?" But we keep pretty busy with friends and family, thank goodness for them! Thanks for working so hard for us Mard. We love you.

The Importance of Sunglasses

While in the car the other day, Kaity was SCREAMING because the sun was in her eyes, acting as though she might die, like some crazed vampire. I gave her my sunglasses and she quickly put them on, upside down, but it achieved the same result....peace and quiet.

Big Girl Bed!

A Momentous event has taken place!! Kaitlyn has graduated to a big girl bed!!! The first night was TERRIBLE. But in all fairness, she had a terrible cold, so I think that is why it was so tough. She was getting up and knocking on her door all night. We finally gave up at 6am and put her in the pack'n'play. After she got better, we tried again, and she has been so so good!! She sleeps in her bed for naps and bed time without battles!! WOW.

Happy Birthday Mom!

We all went home for Mom's Birthday. It was a lot of fun. We went out to eat at this super fun place where they bring around all kinds of pizza and you just eat and eat all you want ;) The dessert pizza was to die for!! It is always fun when we all get together. Glad we were able to spend the weekend with you Mom! Love you.
