Remembering a Day in Logan

I am really missing summer. I especially love summers in Logan.
Markham is such an awesome dad.

Boys are Different

I find Jackson in some interesting places.
I have also found him standing on the dishwasher door emptying all the dishes. Thankfully he didn't find the knives especially appealing. I really have to watch this kid! Kaity never did this kind of stuff.
And then he gives me this grin, because he knows he's not supposed to be there.

Not So Sobby

Apparently my posts have been a little like a "sob story," as Markham referred to them. I don't mean to be that way. It's just winter. So I'll be making an effort to post happy, shiny things. I certainly don't want to be sobby.

We had a fun day with a good friend I miss. She lives just down the road from the condo we used to rent. We had a lot of fun together. We took the kiddos to McDonald's for happy meals. They played while we caught up, good times.

The kiddos playing "Hedbanz," a fun game where you guess the picture on your head by asking yes or no questions. It was cute. Even Roxy enjoyed it.
Thanks for making the trek Savina! Our turn next time!

...and here is Markham with his pup.
For being born and raised a full-blooded cat person, I think I'm doing remarkably well.

A SAHM's ramblings

I have been a huge slacker with the good ole' blog lately. Blame it on the fact I have no pictures to post because I always forget my stupid camera. super lame.

We went to a fun Valentines Party, where we played the newlywed game. It was a lot of fun. We rocked! Tied for 1st place!  Kaity helped me make heart shaped sugar cookies for the party. She loved it. It was pretty cute. I have no pictures of this. Bad. I have decided we are going to make festive sugar cookies for every holiday. That way she can frost her heart out every couple of months and I will get pictures next time.

Markham and I were planning to go to Brighton for a night of skiing. We are so starved for a night out..... but the kiddos got sick....again. I could so be a nurse. With all the administering of medications, breathing treatments, temperature taking, and time spent in the Dr's office I am pretty much a pro.  I am just super grateful I don't have a job, I would have lost it by now.  We aren't giving up on the skiing...we are determined to get out.

Meanwhile Kaitlyn is growing like a weed despite the lack of sunshine outside. We had a few really warm days last week and it was awesome. We took the kiddos for a walk and let them play at the park. Without coats! And now we have a fresh blanket of snow outside, I guess it's still February.

I know I am rambling on. The kiddos are both napping and I can't find the remote. This is the only time I can watch anything but Nick Jr.! So unfair! Meanwhile, I am just trying my best to resist the Bath and Body sale. I should go put the laundry away. I don't mind washing it, I don't mind folding it, I hate putting it away.

The kiddos are enjoying their Valentine's gifts. Jackson carries Woody around and cuddles him at night.
As much as I would love Kaitlyn to like princesses, ponies and baby dolls, her heart belongs to Spongebob. I used to hate him, now I just embrace him.
Hope you had a swell Valentine's Day!

P.S. Am I the only person alive without a Facebook account?
