This is 47

I worked on my birthday which I was originally bummed out about, but it ended up being pretty great!  Markham brought me a Starbucks first thing. He came walking up to my morning duty post like the prince charming he is. My friends were very impressed and confirmed I had a good one. I know this.

I received birthday wishes all day from the students. I felt celebrated all day! 

I even got a few gifts. So sweet.

I didn't realize this at the time, but this is my last birthday with all my kids living at home.

Markham surprised me with pearls for my birthday and I'm in love with them. 

It was an awesome birthday. 

Jamaica!

We celebrated our anniversary in Jamaica this year and it was amazing. It has been 18 beautiful years with my best friend. Can't believe Kaitlyn is 16, Jackson is 13 and Adelyn is 10. Can't even process that we've been doing this for nearly 2 decades. Time flies when you're having fun.

We met the Booth's there. They are dear friends of ours who were celebrating 20 years. It was such a blast to be there with them.

Everything about Jamaica was beautiful. 

The resort, the grounds, the weather, the beach, the water, the food, etc. 

Breakfast and toast on our balcony. So magical.

We relaxed and laughed and napped and ate. All the things a vacation should be.

The beach was the most beautiful beach I have ever had the good fortune of sinking my feet into, and the water was so unbelievably clear! There were moon jellies everywhere! I even picked one up! It was wild!

It was so fun spending all day together doing nothing.

Time to clean up for dinner!

We took a catamaran to Dunn Falls. It was such a fantastic adventure! 

Had the best time!!! I love you babe! Feels like I won the jackpot with you.

Logan

We drove to Logan one more time before we head to Texas. Logan will always hold a special place in my heart. Visiting was bittersweet. Not sure when we'll be back.

We watched Parker play basketball and visited with Ashley. Man I miss that girl. Her baby boy is adorable for sure. Lindsey was swooning all over him. She's hoping to have one more soon. I guess that's how you know you are past that stage. He was cute but I don't want one. haha

They are planning on coming down to Dallas this summer to visit.
