BiG DaY

Kaitlyn had her first dance recital Wednesday night. It was a big day with rehearsal and pictures in the morning and the performance that night.
She loved being a "princess"
Middle of the day nap between rehearsal and performance.
Ready to go!

It was a long day of a lot of excitement. After she danced that night she said, "Can we do it again?" She loves to dance!

Calling all Teethers!

Cutting teeth is rough. Poor Jacks seems to always be getting new teeth and it makes him grouchy! If you have a little teether at home, try this trick....put mini bagels in the freezer and when they are nice and frozen give one to your little guppy to gnaw on. When it gets too thawed throw it back in and pull out another one. Jackson loves 'em!

Hello Summer!!

We are LOVING the warm sunny days!  It was super gloomy and rainy for a month or longer it seemed, but now everything is super green, including all the weeds....GAG. We spent time in the yard pulling said weeds and planting flowers in their place this weekend. I am realizing our yard is a LOT of work, and keeping the grass mowed is just the beginning. The previous owners put in a ton of landscaping which was a selling point, Ha!! But now we are bewildered at the amount of work it requires. We are pretty happy with it now, but we have spent many Saturdays slaving away and will need to keep the weeds in check.

We had planned to go to Logan this weekend. My sister's baby is home from Primary Children's and I can't wait to get my hands all over him....but Jackson is sick. So we stayed home because I certainly don't want to get baby Lincoln sick. We had an awesome meal on Sunday, BBQ salmon & sweet potatoes....yum. It was nice.

Welcome Little Angel

Our nephew, Lincoln, arrived 3 weeks early with some complications. He has been at Primary Children's Hospital for a week. Yesterday was an awesome day...he made some huge improvements. We got to hold him! What a sweet little guy.

When Kaitlyn saw these pictures, she said, "Ahhhhh..... Lindsey's baby. They are fixing him."  We are praying he can come home soon!
