Markham and I woke to Kaitlyn frantically yelling "Mommy, Daddy!!" She said, "I had a bad dream. Me and Daddy were watching a hockey game and a bee flew in the house!! It was HORRIBLE!!"
I didn't realize bees were so terrifying until I remembered how Markham reacts when he sees one. It is as though the little thing might snatch his soul into eternal damnation. It is quite a sight to behold.
This is clearly his fault.

What is it with bees?? Is it just me or does it seem like kids are more afraid of them now then we were? And yes, it must be all Markham fault. Tell him he must be the reason Andi is scared of them too! :)
OH MY GOODNESS!!! I am dying over here....eternal damnation?? You are SOOO funny! And I am with mard...I freak as well. Time to rent the BEE Movie...it changed my perspective...just a little:)
I am totally with Markham. Bees are the devil's creation. You will be amused to know that a few weeks ago a bee somehow got into my house in the middle of the day as I was coming in from running errands. I threw the kids back into the car and went to my mom's for the rest of the day and didn't come home until Cory had found and killed it. Kaity is perfectly rational.
Those two better steer clear of our house for a while... we are bee central! Clara has never acted afraid of spiders before, and then the other day I freaked out over one and now she talks about how scared she is of them all the time ---- so funny (and a little nerve wracking) what kids pick up from us! You're rhubarb apple crisp recipe looks delicious! Hope you guys are doing good:)
Hahaha That is an awesome story! All the random things my girls do I can totally see Ben do, ok not all but some of his most random things! Your kids are so cute, I miss ya.
