Ranger's first month at home

Christmas pup.
Addie is in heaven with Ranger. She loves him so much even though he is kinda crazy at times and gets all worked up. She has a few holes in her clothes from his razor sharp teeth. She takes it all in stride. She's a good momma.
He was this little for like 5 minutes. I tried to take a lot of pictures because I knew he would grow fast but wow. It is CRAZY!
Potty training was a struggle in the beginning even when we tried to keep eyes on him the entire time. It seems like he would always sneak away and pee on the floor, We started tying him up while we had meals, etc. He didn't love it but he found ways to entertain himself.
Time for a walk/run to get all that energy out!
Addie loves to pick him and cuddle him. He's so good about it.
Best friends
Practicing "sit" in the backyard. He's actually really good at this one. He loves getting treats.
He passes out hard after walks.
Jackson is excited too. He has always wanted a boy dog because he feels outnumbered with 2 sisters. We named him Ranger because he read a book about a golden retriever called "Ranger in Time." He told me if we ever got a dog he would want to name him Ranger.
#wishgranted
Ranger is a good snuggle buddy when he is tired.
movie night
Markham is pretty happy too. What a tender moment. Remember when Ranger was this small? If you blinked you probably missed it.
I walked Ranger to school to pick up the kids. It was a little overwhelming. Haha. Between Ranger not really getting "how to be walked" and all the attention he got from everyone I was exhausted when we got home. Probably won't be doing that again for while. lol
The kids loved it though 💗
Making dreams come true over here!
I just hope I can survive it. Ha!
