We spent an afternoon in Island Park with Grandpa and Grandma.
Grandpa told us about the 3 summers he spent here when he was young working at the gas station and helping his family build a cabin.
It was a fun day following Grandpa down memory lane ♥
It is a pretty special place to Grandpa.
The kiddos fell in love with it.
No wonder Grandpa is a master builder.

Haha we couldn't use the bathroom in the cabin because the water was turned off.
After leaving the cabin we ate at Pond's Lodge. I had the yummiest fish and chips I have ever had!
On the way back to West Yellowstone we stopped at Howard Springs and had a long refreshing drink from the natural spring. The kids thought it was pretty cool. As did I.
What a fun day!! So glad we did it! ♥♥
