Catching up with Cousins!

We just got home from a 10-day vaca to Southern California! It was so fun and relaxing!! We stopped in Vegas and stayed a couple of nights with family. Kaity and Carson had so much fun together. They entertained eachother so well that it made us both think it might to time to upgrade the family! We wish we didn't live so dang far away!! Love you guys!!

Wedding Bells

On Saturday we went to Kris and Morgan's wedding. Grandma Carroll watched Kaity for us. Thanks again Mom!! It was so fun. The reception was in Redondo Beach at La Venta Inn. It sits on top of the hill overlooking the ocean. It was so beautiful! We had a lot of fun catching up with old friends and eating delicious food! Congrats again to the beautiful couple!What a handsome man I have!! It's hard to go to a wedding and not think about the day you got married. It was fun to reminisce.

Cookie Maker

Turns out Kaity is a pretty good little cookie maker. Who knew? It's not like I ever make cookies from scatch. Grandma gave her a lesson while we were there. They were yummy, but Kaitlyn was more into eating the dough.

Fun with the Boys

In California Kaitlyn has more cousins to play with! They played at the park, swam in the pool, discovered animals at the Wild Animal Park and just had fun. She was the youngest and smallest, but did that bother her? Heck no! My little girl can hold her own!! The boys were really cute with her. It is too bad they can't play together more often.

My Baby is 18 months old....

Kaitlyn has developed quite a little personality. We have a lot fun together, whether we are taking a walk, playing at mom's group, doing a little shopping at Target or just hanging out. She is quite the chatterbox, like her mom. She holds just about anyting to her ear and pretends she is chatting it up. She is learning new words all the time. She loves the book "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" and anything to do with Elmo. Sometimes in the night she wakes up and calls, "Daddy" which is cute, and nice for me, since I get to stay in bed :) Way to go Markham! I can't imagine life without her. What an awesome blessing it is to have this little girl call me "Mommy."
