It was a total surprise!!
I heard cowbells outside in the hallway and the next thing I knew, the door was opening and all these beautiful people poured into my classroom cheering and yelling Congratulations. It was overwhelming and emotional. Markham brought all the kids! I was feeling pretty loved. All the students and staff lined the hallways and they cheered as I walked through. I cried. It was a lot.
I love my job!
It's fun and exhausting and rewarding all at once.
It feels pretty awesome to be recognized for all the time and energy I pour into trying to create a really engaging and magical experience for the kids.
