Christmas morning at Grandma and Grandpa's

Great Grandma loved her calendar.

He also loved Guardians of the Galaxy.

 Markham was cracking up on the jungle cruise. Our guide was hilarious.

We stayed at an Airbnb on beautiful horse property. The kids loved it.

We spent a fun night catching up with Markham's besties from high school. 

 It was a fun and fast trip! 

We were back at the airport headed back to Dallas before we knew it.

Adelyn's 6th Birthday

We surprised Addie with balloons and French toast for her birthday. She wasn't convinced that she wanted to spend her birthday at school but she decided if I brought her a happy meal at lunch time and she was able to give out Scooby graham snacks to her classmates it might be ok. 

 She picked out a Frozen cake

 This year she was excited to get new clothes, some jewelry and a new jewelry box, a Frozen clock for her room, a tangle pet comb for her hair, some books and some money.

 She was excited!

That night it was the Holiday Celebration at their school. We decided to go and check things out.

 She was excited to strike a pose with the Whitt Wolf. Jackson wasn't too sure. haha

To celebrate her birthday we also went to see the Grinch movie and spent an afternoon at the Arboretum. She loves spending time together as a family.

My Addie is a sweet and smart girl. It makes me proud but also makes my heart ache. Time zooms by too fast.

She is my little helper and buddy. She's always there to offer a hand, a smile and a laugh.  She loves to play video games, play with legos and watch shows with Jackson. She is learning to read and works hard in school. She has lot of friends and is sensitive to others. She has a sense of humor that seems beyond her years and makes Markham and I laugh all the time.
