Field Trip with Addie

 We had a lot of fun exploring the Treehouse together.

Addie is enjoying preschool this year.

Horse Rides

 The kiddos love spending time at Grandma and Grandpa's barn with the horses.

This sweet one gave everyone a nice ride ♥

 Even Markham and I had a ride. 

 Afterwards he got a good rub down and a bucket of grain.

 The boys love running around and exploring.

Back at the house just relaxing.

Back to School!

Adelyn was excited to meet her teacher and learn all about her new school. 

She looked so cute with her new backpack. I stayed with her and we toured the school and learned all about the rules and the fun things her class would be doing. 

 The next time she went was her true first day. 

 She was so excited. 

It's gonna be a great year. 

Meanwhile Kaitlyn is now in 5th grade and Jackson is in 2nd! What is happening to my children? They are getting so big and wearing clothes that look enormous when I fold them. It makes me sad. It's slipping by so quickly and I can't slow it down. 

Karate

Jackson loves Karate. Sensei Josh is his favorite.

He loved having a purple belt and purple bo staff and purple kamas.

It is his favorite color after all.  

But he has moved on and earned his green belt. 

Way to go Jacks!

Timpooneke

We loved camping at the Timpooneke campground. I think we've decided it's our favorite spot. 

It was so beautiful- dense forest, lots of shade, lots of fun trails to explore, big campsite, lots of room for kids to play, big concrete pad for all our chairs, cooking stuff, cooler. etc.

Perfect.  

 It got chilly at night. We sure love our trailer.

The furnace keeps us toasty and warm.

The pup loves to go camping with us.

Mainly because she gets to snuggle down in the blankets with us.

At home she sleeps in her own bed, 

 So has no trouble making herself at home, sleeping between Markham and I.

Markham always takes such great care of us and cooks up all kinds of yumminess.

The first night Matt, Emma and Kendra drove up to have pizza and s'mores with us.

It was fun to have them.

 I wish we could get back in a few weeks for the fall leaves but not sure if we can make it work. 

We will definitely go back next year. ↟↟
