Home Town Visit

We spent a fun and fast week in southern California visiting Markham's family. I have so many cute pics I need to make collages to get them all in. Overkill? Definitely. But that's kinda how I do things. Getting them all posted will be a project. For sure.  Here are a few from our trip to Pennypickle's Workshop- a children's museum.

The kiddos were enchanted. So many things to discover. I could almost hear their little minds working.

After a couple of hours of mad discovery, we strolled down the streets of Old Town and stopped for a few Root Beer Floats.

It was fun to spend the day with Markham's sister and her boys.

First Flight

The kiddos were pretty excited to fly on an airplane for the first time. They were bursting with excitement for all the fun times that awaited them in California!

A Summer's Night

...goes great with fresh strawberries from our little patch. We're loving it

1st Grade

Well it has come. The first day of first grade. Since we are year round now, we are starting in July. Holy smokes. I feel like our summer has been hijacked. It's weird.

 

Here is my cutie all ready to go. So excited!!

Her very own locker with her name! Holy smokes getting a locker in Jr High was super cool. I remember practicing my combo so I wouldn't look like a dork on the first day. Now the 6 year olds get one too! with their name! in a cute font! She doesn't even know how cool that is.
