But after lighting Markham's birthday cake I was a little concerned, there were so many candles! hee hee. But less of course than on my cake. I am 4 years older than him, sshhhhh. My cake will look like a blow
torch this year.
What a funny picture, I am surprised our fire alarm didn't start going off
I assure you those candles were not burning some hallucinogenic drug, even though by Markham's expression, you may have doubts. I guess he's just super excited to be 29 this year!
But in all seriousness, Happy Birthday to my very best friend, awesome husband, and wonderful father. I feel super blessed to have him. He makes me laugh everyday and makes my life so happy. We had an awesome date night at the Gateway (thanks Lesli!) We enjoyed yummy sushi at Happy Sumo. Ahhhhh, how incredibly wonderful and novel it was to have a meal in peace. We actually had a conversation! without interruptions, potty breaks and spills!! Simply wonderful, it was. And then we enjoyed a movie that wasn't animated without worrying about sodas spilling and popcorn flying. We just don't do this nearly enough.
The next day Markham wanted to have a "Day O' Fun" with the kiddos. We went bowling. Surprise, I forgot the camera. (Just imagine cute pictures here)
It was such a fun weekend! Love you babe!
